Position Overview
AHP is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President (VP) for the Center for Training, Technical Assistance, and Consulting (CTTAC) to join the executive leadership team. This role provides strategic oversight of financial performance, staff leadership, business development, and operational execution, ensuring alignment with AHP’s mission and growth objectives. The VP will lead a team of Managing Directors and senior staff, driving collaboration across AHP’s divisions, including Research & Evaluation (R&E), Administrative Services Entity (ASE), Project Management Office (PMO) and Digital Solutions.
The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record in contract acquisition, revenue growth, large-scale financial management, and operational efficiency. This individual must be skilled in fostering partnerships with national, state, and local levels while ensuring operational excellence in service delivery. We prefer candidates in MA, FL, AZ or IL, though we will consider applicants from other states as well.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Oversight

  • Lead and manage the CTTAC division, ensuring strategic alignment with AHP’s goals.
  • Oversee financial performance, including revenue generation, profitability and cost-control
  • Develop and implement long-term strategic growth plans, including expansion initiatives.
  • Foster collaboration across AHP divisions to enhance service delivery, quality and client satisfaction.
  • Represent AHP as a thought leader in the field, driving innovation and industry influence.

Project & Financial Management

  • Serve as an executive sponsor for major contracts, overseeing execution and impact.
  • Drive budget oversight, revenue forecasting, and financial sustainability efforts for the CTTAC division
  • Ensure profitability and adherence to contractual obligations through effective matrix management
  • Provide direct supervision to Managing Directors, optimizing resource allocation and project outcomes.

Staff Development & Organizational Leadership

  • Cultivate leadership within the division through mentorship, succession planning and talent development.
  • Oversee hiring, performance management, and leadership training initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of trust, respect, and professional growth.

Business Development & Contract Acquisition

  • Drive business development efforts in collaboration with Strategic Development
  • Lead efforts to secure high-value contracts and expand AHP’s market presence.
  • Strengthen partnerships across county, state, federal, and private markets.
  • Engage staff in proposal development and client engagement

Qualifications
Education:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, public administration, public health, social work or a related discipline preferred; extensive experience may be considered in place of formal education.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of executive leadership in program management, consulting, or behavioral health systems
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, business development, and high-impact project management.
  • Extensive experience leading high-performing teams and driving large-scale initiatives
  • Strong background in technical assistance, training, and consultation
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • P&L management experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $200,000 - $240,000 per year
