Staff Consultant: IL RCCA Regional Lead

Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP) is seeking Regional Advisors in the state of Illinois who have the desire to make a difference in the world and work on programs/projects that improve the health and welfare of people and communities. The candidate will work on the Illinois Regional Care Coordination Agency Project as regional lead, promoting a coalition within one of Illinois' seven regions. The project is a statewide effort to use Opioid Settlement Funds to establish seven (7) Regional Care Coordination Agencies throughout the state of Illinois that will work to fund and provide support to prevention, intervention, treatment, and harm reduction services aimed at addressing the effects of the opioid crisis. The Staff Consultants will be hired to provide leadership within their regions, inclusive of building and leading a regional coalition, serving as a liaison for subrecipients/sub-grantees, delivering training and technical assistance, and providing support and expertise to internal and external stakeholders. Your specific expertise will be fully utilized, and there is ample opportunity to learn new skills and grow.

About the Position

This is a remote Position in Illinois. However, the position will require periodic travel to AHP's Chicago Office for meetings and training and to assigned regions throughout the state.

Education and Training

Candidates for this position are preferred to possess a Master’s Degree in public health, public administration, social work, behavioral health, or a related discipline. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or personal lived experience and extensive field experience may hold this position on a case-by-case basis.

Professional Experience

The Regional Advisor will have five or more years of highly complex applicable work experience. Experience providing consulting, training, or technical assistance is preferred.

Salary Range: $88,000 - $95,000

The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the AHP salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be high or low in the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and education. The range listed is just one component of AHP’s total compensation package for employees.
