We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Success Manager II (ASM) to support a portfolio of clients working to build up our most vulnerable communities.
As an ASM with the Administrative Services Entity (ASE) of AHP, you will play a pivotal role in servicing and providing exceptional support to a portfolio of awardees who have received funding under state-sponsored contracts. Our ASMs work closely with internal subject matter experts to ensure awardees have the necessary tools and information to complete their projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, problem-solving skills, and the willingness to adapt.

Responsibilities:
Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with a caseload of awardees, acting as their primary point of contact from pre-application to project completion. Function as a liaison between the organization and the awardees. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and SME’s such as real estate, legal, project team, funding team, etc.
Applicant Support and Awardee Onboarding: Participate in pre-award activities with potential applicants. Facilitate the onboarding process for new awardees, ensuring they have the tools and resources to understand and execute the expectations and responsibilities of the award.
Project Management: Assist and collaborate with other team members in guiding clients through the application, award, and project life cycle to completion. Take ownership of each project to ensure that deliverables are met, dependencies are clear, and risks are identified.
Account Support: Provide expert guidance and support to awardees, addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring their project is successful. Provide training and education to the awardees. Coordinate and facilitate recurring sponsor calls. Facilitate additional support with subject matter experts, as needed.
Issue Resolution: Identify and address challenges and roadblocks, working closely with internal and external teams to ensure timely and effective solutions. Identify and report potential project risks, promptly escalating appropriately.
Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with awardees to understand their project progress. Work with internal team members to report upcoming project milestones to ensure that compliance requirements are met by awardees in a timely manner.
Feedback and Communication: Collect and relay awardee feedback on our processes and technical support to drive improvements and enhancements.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5-7 years serving as an Account Success Manager (ASM) or similar role within AHP or a similar organization.
Minimum of 6 years in the financial, real estate/construction, and/or account management field, at least three of which were managing a portfolio of accounts.
Minimum of 3 years in the grants management field, collaborating directly with grant recipients.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Intermediate understanding of project management principles.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with awardees and internal subject matter experts.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft suite of tools, and SharePoint.
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, positive client relationships, as well as manage client expectations and maintain client satisfaction with a customer-centric approach.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to confront unexpected problems quickly and effectively.

Annual Salary Range: $ 85,000 - $105,000

The base salary range above represents the low and high ends of the AHP salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be high or low within the specified range, depending on a range of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and education. The range listed is just one component of AHP’s total compensation package for employees.
